The existence of biopore holes on Panggang Island, North Seribu Islands has been added to improve water retention and prevent flooding when it rains.

According to Hendri, Sub-agency Head of Seribu Islands SDA, the biopore hole-making started on Friday (10/20) and was completed already. Thus far, there have been 30 holes in RW 03 Panggang Island.
"Seven holes are made in RT 07/03, where the area was previously lack of biopore holes," he expressed, Monday (10/23).
